Civilian:
1984-Present Federally accredited veterinarian
1984-2010 Diagnosing and treating diseases of livestock and companion animals in 30 mile radius in Eastern Iowa as a practicing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Herd health advice provided for clientele on a daily basis.
Military:
2004 Guatemala-Member of a 3 person team treating and vaccinating over 1346 head of livestock, horses, and companion animals in a humanitarian Civil Affairs mission over a two week period.
2005 El Salvador- Member of a 30 member group treating and vaccinating over 15,600 head of livestock and companion animals in a humanitarian Civil Affairs mission over a two week period.
2006-2007 Deployed to Middle East in Operation Iraqi Freedom-Performed over 20 Sanitary Audits of food producing facilities supplying products to the U.S Military. Audits were performed in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Djibouti, and United Arab Emirates, and were to ensure food supplies were safe and met critical guidelines of the U.S Military. Provided command and oversight of 2 teams of soldiers inspecting over 3.5 million pounds (7 million dollars) of food and beverage items for military posts in the area.
2009 Jamaica-Officer in Charge of team of 3 treating and vaccinating 6355 head of livestock and companion animals in a humanitarian Civil Affairs mission over a three week period.
2010-2011 Deployed to Afghanistan in Operation Enduring Freedom-
Developed rabies education and vaccination program for Kunar province with resultant vaccination of over 1500 dogs and training of over 700 individuals. Planned and managed 37 Afghan veterinarians in the vaccination and treatment of over 39,000 head of livestock in 12 of 15 districts in Kunar province. Developed numerous educational seminars and programs to benefit veterinarians, beekeepers, and farmers in Kunar province while working with provincial government.

As from 2012 member of Nato Force and Team Leader on Conflict resolutions in Afghanistan apart from using the strategies of introducing new method on Agricultural Development..
